Job Purpose :

To carry out day today activities of purchase dept ( Finding out vendors, price negotiation, Raising of Purchase Orders, supplier follow ups, Keeping of Purchase/import records, Knowledge of imports procedures & formalities, preparation of import duty requests, Filing, Forwarding bills to finance and payment follow ups).

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Knowledge of Machineries & Stores & Spares

  2. Good negotiation skills

  3. Exposure to purchase/imports/stores

  4. Competency in MS Office

  5. Knowledge of SAP desirable

  6. Adherence to Purchase Procedure & Policy.

  7. Good Business awareness is required

  8. Good Inter personal skill

  9. Good communication skill

  10. Good knowledge of taxes & import duties

  11. Preparation of purchase orders, keeping of purchase records, preparation of import duty requests

  12. Knowledge of contracts

Knowledge, Competencies and Key Behaviours Required

B.Com/BBM with 4 to 5 years’ experience in purchase/imports/logistics/supply chain

Prior work experience in Manufacturing companies

Position will be based in Bangalore Head office
