Performance Materials Marketing Analyst

Opportunity: Performance Materials Marketing Analyst 

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

Summary of role:
Work with key people within the organization to lead Coats to digital adoption through our e-commerce platform. Own internal sampling and new product ideas (NPI) from concept to a finish product. Provide analytical support to the Director and manager of Customer Services.

Key accountabilities:

Performance Materials Marketing Support
  • Lead e-commerce market adoption process with a target of 80% MAR
    • Collaborate with global resources for conversion tools on Platinum and Gold customers
    • Assist sales and customer service in seamless conversion on Bronze & Gold customers
  • Support the sales department with competitive pricing for existing and new business opportunities 
  • Examine materials up for reinstatement into the product portfolio 
  • Receive and generate cost requests for new materials 
  • Validate and maintain material data for accuracy in reporting
Business Analytics
  • Analyze eComm metrics for reporting to local and global management team
  • Measure price increase achievements 
  • Assist with monthly reports for Director of Customer Services and Specialty Product Manager
  • Other duties, including special projects, as requested
Customer Service / Sales Support
  • Work closely with customer service team on eComm market adoption rates and processes
  • Lend support with product inquiries 
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
(Essential)
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • MS office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Adaptable and willing to embrace change
  • Project Oriented
  • Capable of working both independently and as a team player
(Desirable)
  • SAP knowledge
  • Business Intelligence 
  • Previous marketing experience
  • Knowledge and/or experience with email distribution software is a plus
  • Knowledge of web design applications
  • e-commerce
