Role Purpose:
  • To ensure all Technical activity meets targets in terms of safety, compliance, speed, quality and productivity through enforcement of SOP’s.
  • To develop technical knowledge and skills for the dyehouse team through the delivery of ColourStitch training
  • To support end users solving issues related to ColourStitch system.

Key Accountabilities:
Report to: Dyehouse Manager

1. Productivity and Quality Development:
  • Ensure all related standard operating procedures and work instructions are up to date, trained to relevant employees and followed properly.
  • Measure and meet productivity targets of department such as TACs update as planned, auto-prescreening percentage and RFT/CQ etc
  • Ensure all recipes are pre-screened quickly and effectively and in accordance with relevant SOPs to reduce lead times, increase PPDS adherence and RFT/CQ.
  • Produce analysis of productivity along with proposals for improvement
  • Analyze all colour related complaints and provide preventive actions.
  • Ensure all spectrophotometers are calibrated frequently as plan
  • Contract yearly maintenance with Datacolour to maintain all spectrophotometers and card conditioners
  • Use global reports such as Dyehouse Tier 2 and Global TAC’s reports to drive continuous improvement

2. Colour Stich Management:

  • Support end users to solve issues related to ColourStitch
  • Co-ordinate with Colour System and Technology Teams to upgrade ColourStitch system to the latest version

  • Ensure all Colour Stitch standard operating procedures are up to date and trained to all end users to drive continuous improvement

3. People management accountability:

  • Set up and communicate SMART objectives to the team
  • Monitor and conduct regular performance review of subordinates.
  • Provide timely feedback and have career conversation (at least every half year) with the team

Education, Qualification and Experience:

1. Essential:
  • University degree in Chemical, Engineering or Textile. 
  • Experience of working in MNC environment

  • At least 1-year management experience in dyeing operations  

  • Communicate fluently in Vietnamese and English

  • Good at knowledgeable of Colour Physics 

2. Desirable:
  • Ability to present reports in a clear and concise fashion   
  • Good technical knowledge of dyeing methods, dyestuffs, auxiliary chemicals, profiles and dyeing machines
