Professional Services Assistant Manager, GSD

Role summary:

This position is responsible for assisting Sales Manager to deliver all things related to training and implement software from English to Vietnamese. Schedules training events, obtains instructional materials, and ensures communication with customers and trainees of training requirements in both English and Vietnamese. 

Key Accountability:

  • Translate all training content from English to Vietnamese (documents, onsite translation, local communication with customers etc.).
  • Responsible for clerical and administrative duties related to handling training.
  • Assists Senior Technical Product Manager in scheduling training timeline, obtains and assists in maintaining instructional materials in local language, and ensures communication with customers and trainees of training requirements.
  • Assist Senior Technical Product Manager in the preparation of training documentation such as training manuals, hand notes for participants, questionnaires and other support materials.
  • Coordinate the preparation of local training sessions, find training rooms, ensure all necessary equipment and catering arrangements as well.
  • Inform local participants or trainees about training demands and other important aspects relating to training courses and requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining records relating to training course and participants. Assist in the preparation and distribution of training certificates for those who attended the class.
  • In charge of taking care of administrative tasks such as handling the correspondence and write memos, e-mails, letters, making copies, provide the training manager with general administrative support.
Education, Qualification and Experience:

1. Essential:

  • Good at reading and writing skills in English as well as Vietnamese language (native used).
  • At least 2-3 years experiences in the garment / footwear industry as Production, IE, Merchandising.
  • Technically adept and capable of learning new software and industries through project exposure and shadowing of experienced consultants – a good self-learner.
  • Good communicator with personnel at all levels.
  • Highly organized, punctual and responsible.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working alone, or as part of a small team.
  • A willingness to travel within Vietnam and possibly overseas.
  • Strong computer skills, MS Office 
2. Desirable:

  • Background knowledge of sourcing / buying offices or manufacturing.
  • Experience of using GSD software is an advantage.
