Role Purpose:

To lead motivate and manage the sales team in the assigned area to develop a profitable sales argument in favour of the Coats offer and to assist the team in achieving agreed sales results and any other targets within agreed time frames.

Key Accountabilities:

- Deliver or exceed sales targets and ensure the highest profitability

  • Establish and implement sales planning for the area
  • Follow up and monitor specifications gained by the global sales team
  • Initiate and manage profiling of all customers by the sales team so that opportunities to gain share, upgrade or improve product mix are identified and exploited
  • Prospect, approach and gain new customers

- Team Management:

  • To monitor, coach and train sales personnel in the assigned territory to deliver agreed targets
  • To identify training and development needs for individual team member
  • Ensure full adoption of salesforce.com in the whole assigned sales team

- Market and competitor information:

  • To collect and feedback key competitors and market information
  • Ensure the sales team provide accurate and detailed forecast of future customer demand

- Ensure adequate time is allocated to collection and that debtor day targets for each territory are achieved.

-  Contribute in improving profitability and reducing complexity by commercial actions.

- To initiate and build relationships at senior level across customers’ organization in order to build the Coats profile at the highest level.

Education, Qualification and Experience:

1. Essential:

  • University Degree of Economics or related fields. 
  • Experience: minimum 3 years in field sales management and at least 7 years working experience
  • Good communication in Vietnamese, English and Chinese
  • Excellence presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage, prioritize own workload

2. Desirable:

  • Experience in textiles/ garment/ footwear or relevant industries
  • Ability to manage a team to deliver assigned results
