Senior Marketing Executive

Opportunity: Senior Marketing Executive

Location: Derby, Fast React Systems Head Office

Fast React Systems is a fully owned subsidiary of Coats Group PLC and is part of the Coats Global Services division, which specialises in ‘best in class’ technology based solutions that deliver significant and measurable cost, speed and productivity improvements to manufacturers, sourcing companies, retailers and brands.

Role Summary:

This is a newly created position, designed to support the Coats Global Services division’s growth plans. The purpose of this role is to support and depustise for the Marketing Manager whilst driving increased awareness of Fast React solutions to potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage lead generation and qualification activities to support the achievement of sales targets.
  • Coordinate and analyse digital activity focusing on maximising conversions through leveraging website design and content, SEO, Analytics, PPC, social media, etc.
  • Run, monitor and analyse digital and direct campaigns.
  • Attend and contributed at FRS Management meetings, reporting on weekly activities to monthly/QRTLY/Yearly department statistic
  • Prepare and deliver marketing material, ensuring external agencies are managed correctly to ensure full on time delivery to brief and costs are met.
  • Organise and coordinate global events and exhibitions. 
  • Contribute to the development of internal branding through the FRS brand manual.
  • Write and re-purpose compelling copy for digital and offline use, including press releases, case studies, management briefs and brochures.
  • Deliver content management to an agreed calendar, with upload to FR digital platforms and social media as required.
  • Supervise day-to-day activity of Marketing Assistant, working to training plans and complete one to one weekly meetings.

Experience, Skills and Background


  • Marketing experience in a B2B environment.
  • Experience of working on a global level.
  • Proven track record of successful contribution to the achievement of specific marketing KPIs.
  • Experience in lead generation and qualification.
  • Digital marketing experience and skills in using Adwords to create and publish PPC adverts and SEO.
  • Experience of managing within an agreed marketing budget.
  • Confident in dealing with individuals at all levels within an organisation.
  • Experience in managing junior staff members.


  • Experience of a re-brand exercise, or new product brand development.
