Opportunity: Key Account Executive

Location: Dallas, Texas

Role purpose:
To drive profitable sales growth in the key accounts within the designated territory and to develop new business growth opportunities.

Key accountabilities:
(Essential Functions)

Deliver sales plans and financial objectives
  • Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing all phases of sales plan with assigned accounts.
  • Communicate any competitive developments or activities with assigned accounts.
  • Maintain records as required to manage sales forecast, sales volume, and customer analysis.
Satisfy customer requirements
  • Create, strengthen and maintain personal relationship with customers.
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness and understanding of the customer’s needs.
  • Develop creative solutions to satisfy customer requirements.
Grow market share in line with business strategy.
  • Pursue potential opportunities for market share growth within existing customer base and exploit opportunities to eliminate competition.
  • Responsible for the presentation of all new and current products to assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to seek and develop innovative ways to merchandize consumer markets.
Manages Customer relations / Key Accounts
  • Manages directly the relationships with the principal customers as agreed with MD and Managers
(Non-Essential Functions)
  • Other projects as assigned by Sales Director C & C
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
  • Business management degree with focus on sales & marketing
  • 8 plus years of experience and proven success in leading sales efforts, in a variety of business environments, consumer package goods preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation skills and negotiation skills
  • Good planning, organizational and time management skills
  • A high degree of self-motivation, drive and a sense of urgency
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative style 
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of resources
  • Ability to resolve numerous concurrent priorities
  • Consumer packaged goods &/or Craft  background a plus
